"Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day? Thou are more lovely and more temperate.” No, those are Shakespeare’s words. And you are so much more. But how do you describe happiness? What are the words for joy?

You are a thought that I will not let go of. You are a moment that I do not want to end. You are a dream that I do not want to wake up from. Pictures of you are distractions I always take advantage of. Conversations I listen to over and over again. You are the rock I lean on. You are the strength I need to push through. You are the person I want to be. You are the hero I have always needed. I feel the music only when I dance with you. A song that I never want to end. Once broken… You have made me whole. Once weak… You have made me strong. Your voice is comfort, a melody, a song. Your smile is warmth, kindness, compassion. Your laugh is a distraction, a cure, freedom. Intelligence without equal Talent without parallel Beauty beyond compare Once an experiment Maybe even a mystery You are all I want With you is where I want to be Your heart lifts me up Your spirit allows me to fly Your belief has allowed me to dream Your hope will see me through With a single touch, I am alive With a single embrace, the world fades away With a single kiss, there is only you So how do I describe you? A thought, a feeling, a moment...no You are a gift God has given me To have, to hold, to cherish, and to love

"A time it was, and what a time it was, it was....A time of innocence, a time of confidences...Long ago it must be.... I have a photograph, preserve your memories.....they're all that's left you".

-Paul Simon
