I’m a little bit freaked out today after reading this article on The American Spectator .org called “Did Trump Really Save America From Socialism”. Here is the link:
As one of the commenters at the end of the article said "Excellent summary of the Totalitarian Statist Coup. " I couldn't have said it any better myself.
Take this paragraph from the article for instance:
"In Obama’s mind, his election was only the first step in the transformation of America. When Trump interrupted Obama’s plans by defeating Clinton, Obama was forced to dedicate himself to managing the resistance to Trump with the goal of removing or defeating Trump in order to revive his plan of moving America toward socialism. That is why Obama, his wife Michelle, and his top advisor, Valerie Jarrett moved into a home just two miles from the White House. The home, as reported by the Daily Mail, is the “nerve center of the mounting insurgency against his successor….” This is also why Obama has been busy meeting with numerous 2020 White House contenders at his office in the World Wildlife Fund building in Washington, D.C."
Here's two more paragraphs:
"If the Republicans were half as energetic and organized as Obama, they would likely not be in the predicament they are in. Aside from a few standouts like Congressman Devin Nunes (R-CA), they look impotent and confused, and seem unwilling to believe that Obama has been engaged in a long-term project to transform America and disenfranchise Republicans permanently. Had roles been reversed with Hillary in the White House and Republican FBI/DOJ appointees caught using their offices to sabotage Hillary’s election, it’s likely a lot of Republicans would be wearing orange jumpsuits by now."
"As I’ve previously written for The American Spectator, when Republicans violate the law, the Dems waste no time indicting, convicting, and sending Republicans to prison. Between Watergate and Contra-gate, Democrats charged 83 Republicans with criminal conduct and many went to prison. So far, Republicans have not held even one Democrat accountable for crimes committed that are arguably far more damaging to our democratic process than these two Republican scandals."
The article is an eye-opener of just how serious our situation was (maybe still is) in America and how close we came to a disaster of epic proportions that would have forever changed us. Lets take a look back to the night that God Intervened and answered the prayers of millions.
Election night 2016 was intense. I mean, the whole country’s nerves were on edge. All the polls showed Hillary Clinton with an astounding 93 - 98% chance of winning. So when Donald J Trump won, emotions were very high - both in rapturous joy from those who voted for him and got the answer to our prayers - and dumbstruck tears from those who voted for Hillary and got the shock of their lives.
I guess for years and generations to come much will be written about that election because the results that night on television were described in terms such as “astonishing” “record breaking” “the most shocking election”, "the most unforgettable election in American history" and on and on.
When I say Trump voters were grateful for the “answer to prayer” I’m absolutely serious.
Around about October 2016 I think it was, I remember hearing on the news that Dr. James Dobson of Focus on The Family had endorsed Donald Trump for president and he’s one of the most respected Christian pastor, teacher and authors in the whole Christian world. I was elated. I knew then that Christians were in prayer. I knew millions of Christians were praying for God to intervene in this election and save our country. I’m not talking off brand religions, I’m talking mainline Protestant Baptist straight line Evangelicals were praying for Trump. I know who they are, I am one.
That night of November 8, 2016 around 9 PM the results were starting to come in and Trump was not losing, he was winning. It was exciting but touch and go, neck in neck, too close to call in some states. I had butterflies in my stomach.
All that year of 2016 I was fighting on social media. I was on Facebook standing up for Trump, and being called every name in the book by strangers and even family members were angry with me. I decided that I’m not going to cow or back down, I’m going to fight. I wouldn’t have voted for Hillary if she were running for dog catcher and I’m not going to back down. I don’t care who doesn’t like it. So I restricted anyone on my friends list who didn’t like Trump. What that meant to me is they couldn’t see my posts but they weren’t aware that I’d restricted them. At least I’m pretty sure that’s what it meant. So that freed me up and off I went taking up for Trump all over Facebook, defending his positions, arguing and name calling back with the best of them.
A really amazing thing happened - and this is what is driving all the print and online media and social media like Facebook crazy trying to figure it out - but nobody asked me or I would have told them.
But first I digress so I can make a point here. Around 2008, 2009 I first ventured into social media. I followed a link to an article on MSN to comment on the article and it took me to a place called Newsvine. It was all completely unfamiliar to me but it was a sophisticated little place. A “community” of contributors and members who could write articles or link/seed news articles and discuss them. Their motto was “Get Smarter Here”. On my first day there I landed on an article seeded to Newsvine by the famous leftist “Soph”. Anyone who’s ever been on Newsvine (the website died last year so Newsvine doesn’t exist anymore) but anyone who was ever on the site knew who the darling of the left Soph is. Well I didn’t have a clue that first day but of course I found out later and she and I steered clear of each other for the most part.
So from the article on MSN I land on that article seeded by Soph’s to Newsvine and I made a comment about George Bush having been a good president and you would think I was the very person who dropped the nuclear bomb on Hiroshima - they came after me and swarmed and attacked and all I could think was “what sort of hateful place is this”?
Who are all these hateful people? This was my first foray onto social media and I felt insecure and confused. Where have I found myself? Should I leave?
Then a beautiful thing happened and I’ll never forget them. I won’t mention them by name in case they may not want their names written here but two older guys - as in my age - jumped in and started defending me. I just slap fell in love with those two perfect strangers who took up for me. I remember the relief I felt that two normal people showed up. They guided me after that article around the site. Sent me friend requests and explained how there’s a friends list where you can meet like minded people, and there’s groups I could join and they invited me to join a group they were in where I met great people who made Newsvine an addictive experience.
It wasn’t just addictive to me, Newsvine in its heyday had probably half a million everyday users and even though it was heavily liberal and moderated by liberals it was a memorable experience that opened my world to social media. Long story short.....I remember when one of the dear gentlemen who came to my rescue got kicked off the site. A leftist called him a bigot so he called him a bigot back and the moderator came on to the seed and kicked off my friend banning him from the site but the liberal got to stay. That right there is why Newsvine died. They were so stupid (as liberals are) to kill off their own members and eventually their stupidity was the end of them. They thought they were so powerful and it came back to bite them on the behind. Morons.
But back to election night 2016, I had long ago been invited to Facebook and wasn’t sure I'd like it when the first thing that popped up was pictures of my ex-husband and ex-inlaws suggesting we might want to be friends. I thought, “oh hell no, I don’t think I am going to like this place.” Then the friend who invited me to the Facebook group of ex-Viners (as we called ourselves) explained I didn’t have to like anyone I didn’t want to, I could just come to our group of conservative Newsvine friends and hang out - which is just what I did. I was delighted to find all the friends that had been kicked off Newsvine welcomed me to Facebook. I swear, it was great. Still is.
I eventually figured out Facebook and friended my kids and other family members and friends looked me up and I looked up people and I just got the hang of the place.
Politics was the main issue on Newsvine and frankly that’s what brought me to Facebook. So when they post gushy “you and so and so have been friends since blah blah” I actually hate that stuff. The Facebook owner/designers hiding behind the scene don’t get that a great many of us are there to do just what people were doing on Newsvine, discuss articles and topics of the day and especially politics and we aren't on Facebook to play with our kids and family. We do that outside of Facebook. We want to debate the issues of the day.
So here's what happened and why Trump won the election. Just like when those two friends defended me on Newsvine that first day, the same thing happened on Facebook. I found myself surrounded by leftists calling me names when I’d defend Trump and then other Trump supporters would jump in and defend me and they'd defend Trump and the tide turned. More and more Trump supporters were posting comments in support of Trump and fewer and fewer leftists were attacking us.
It’s laughable that Zuckerberg and all the leftist are whining about Russia. It wasn’t Russia that elected Trump. It was people finding each other and sharing like minds and realizing how many of us there were. Facebook won the election for Trump in my opinion. I really do think that. I said it right after the election when he won. Maybe there’s tons of other social websites out there that had a big influence too, I don’t know. But I do know what happened to me on Facebook and how it all came about. We conservatives talked about praying for Trump, we talked about lets get out and vote, we were excited when people like Dr Dobson threw in his support and so did other big names.
We Trump voters fought off attacks and proudly stood our ground. Some of us lost friends who unfriended us over it. My daughter is actually still upset about the election. Leftist did everything they could think of to attack Trump supporters. They tried out the “shame on Christians for voting for Trump routine” and I proudly declared "we didn’t elect Trump to teach Sunday School, we elected him to guard the gates of our houses, churches and our borders". We drove the leftist crazy with our answers to their attacks. No matter what they said we didn’t care. They'd say "what about the Hollywood Access tape about grabbing pussies"? "Oh" says I, "suddenly you care about morals? "Well when Trump starts chasing interns around the White House with cigars get back to me. Until then I don’t care anymore than you did when the Silver Zipper was president". No matter what the leftist threw at us we fought back.
Now Facebook, Twitter and whoever social media has freaked out trying to figure out what happened. We were right there fighting and they never realized it. They still say "It must have been Russia". "It must be Fake News". Hillary and her cohorts want social media to fix whatever Russia did to collude and beat her.
It’s wasn’t Russia, it was God! People like me were on our knees praying and asking God to save our country. Begging God to intervene. On election night when Trump won I fell to my knees in tears thanking God. It was emotional. I felt the blessing. Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three are gathered together unto My name, there am I in their midst."
Thank you God for Divine Intervention. Thank you for saving our country.

god has often used unsavory and unconventional people to do his work...so yes i think he has used trump and put him in the WH for a reason..
As far as facebook and social media, the libs have resorted to their only tool they have left (pun intended) and that is censorship and banning of those people that do not agree with liberals and actually can influence others to do the same..
just like the old newsvine you spoke of liberals are going to kill off the very people that keep them viable economically..as people are censored and banned they will find new venues but libs can't grasp the idea that they cannot shut them up...since so many of them…
AMEN.
