Lets All Take A Knee

I’m not really paying much attention to NFL right now because of the kneeling controversy but of course the media have to highlight the event every time an NFL player takes a knee so I get to hear about it whether I’m interested or not.

So in the spirit of The Spirit, I have a great idea for how resolve this for everyone.

If any player kneels, I’d like to see the entire stadium kneel with him/them and say the Lords prayer - out loud.

“Our Father Who Art In Heaven, Hallowed Be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will be Done, On Earth As It Is In Heaven. Give Us This Day, Our Daily Bread, And Forgive Us Our Trespasses As We Forgive Those Who Trespass Against Us. Lead Us Not Into Temptation But Deliver Us From Evil, For Thine Is the Kingdom, And The Power, And The Glory, Forever, And Ever, AMEN”

Wouldn’t that be spectacular to hear echoing in a big stadium by 90 thousand voices strong? Times every game? That would be worth rejoicing over.

Then when the player stands back up lets resume the National Anthem - because I’m sure the kneeler/s won’t like everyone kneeling with him/them - if its for prayer. And they’ll want to stand up for them Anthem then.

I’d love to see Americans take bold moves to counter the Leftist agenda and we all know they don’t approve of praying in public. Coaches have been fired for kneeling in prayer. Tim Tebow was ridiculed when he knelt in prayer. So lets join the NFL players who kneel and lets kneel and pray!

In fact, we should be grateful to these NFL players because we weren’t allowed to kneel before but apparently now its allowed. Lets show some appreciation to the NFL players for opening that door the Leftist had shut. Lets join in the celebration by kneeling in prayer before every NFL game.

I’m trying to be reasonable by suggesting this because I already wrote an article stating its time to take patriotism out of the NFL. So rather than take the NFL back 50 years to a time when they couldn’t give away tickets to games, lets embrace the new way and kneel with the players.

Can I get an Amen?
