#DrainTheSwamp - Include the Media In It

#TheMemo has been released and the Twitterverse is exploding at the seams. People - including myself - have been talking about it ever since the first excerpts were released.

Some responses were obvious and expected - i.e. Democrats claiming the end of national security when the political sham card did not work. Then you have the so-called media - i.e. (so-called) journalists - putting in their opinion when they should be doing their job to discover the truth.

Case in point -

This is the part that should disturb people - one of the rights of the Constitution is Freedom of the Press. We do not have a free press anymore. Everyone last one of them are now marked with a label depending on who you ask.

Let me prove my point.

Maddow - MSNBC anchor - highlighted a portion from an article that would seem to imply that the warrant was obtained based on an independent FBI investigation - and not solely on the "dossier." Then if you click on the link - which Maddow was not hoping people would do - and you find this.

Notice the small word right about the title - Opinions.

A so-called journalist linked to an opinion piece and tried to push it as definitive proof. If there is corruption in the DOJ and the FBI - then get rid of it. As I told one person I interacted with on Twitter -

"Let the chips fall where they may."

It seems that also needs to be applied to the media. If a so-called journalist cannot report the facts and/or is no longer interested in the truth - then they need to be caught up in the wake and cleaned out with the rest of them.

#DrainTheSwamp and make sure the #Media is included.
