Good Morning America! What Are We Offended By Today?

That is the tag line to a popular meme that has made the rounds on the internet in various formats. Here is my personal favorite -

It seems that in this day and age, there are a number of Americans who have become so weak that it has become completely laughable. Think about it for a second. See - you started laughing, didn't you?

The newest "offense" is the Star Spangled Banner. Yes - a song has now been deemed offensive. Not just any song - the national anthem of the United States of America has been deemed racially offensive in the United States of America.

How in the world does that even make sense?

It seems that there is a "questionable" reference in the third verse that has managed to irritate a whole bunch of weak-minded individuals into declaring that singing the national anthem of the United States is racist. Yes folks, welcome to the liberal America - where we make up things to be offended by.

Once again, this is the problem I am having. There is a complete disconnect from reality. No one ever sings the third verse. In fact, I guarantee you there are millions - and I mean millions - of Americans who would be surprised to find out that the Star-Spangled Banner had more than one verse.

Yet - racism only seems to occur on one side if you listen to some people.

Did you know there is a Black National Anthem? No, I am not making this up. "Lift Every Voice and Sing" has been known as the Black National Anthem for a long time.

I worked at a black school in Georgia, a few years back, and the teachers were 'forced' to sing it - I am being serious here - and the black parents rose to their feet as it was sung. How is that not "racist?" (By the way, the majority of the staff were white.)

There was no outcry. There was no national news coverage, because we did what we had to do. There were no claims of racism, or that the song being racially offensive. Yet, it was!

But I am not easily offended. I have a thick skin and can deal with things I do not like without throwing a tantrum about how easily hurt I can be. I also have a better understanding of how the world works.

There a lot of people who need to have a reality check. The Star Spangled Banner is the national anthem of the United States of America. If it hurts your feelings - don't sing it.

But do not once think your hurt feelings is more important than the millions of Americans who take pride in hearing it played or sung. You are not that special.

The hypocrisy knows no bounds. What makes it even worse is that they do not think they are being hypocritical. It's only a way street when you deal with "snowflakes" like these.

It's not.

Yes, all this fake offense by liberals is off the charts. When democrats elect and re-elect a known rapist and then run his wife the enabler as their choice candidate - but in-between those two elect a weak and insecure little man that turns Americas premier law enforcement into a den of spies against their fellow Americans - plus uses the IRS to stab their fellow Americans in the heart, and uses the DOJ to hide their offenses and cover up; plus make our State Dept an open door to cyber threats from every bad actor on earth -

- and then dare to feign offense at ANYTHING at all a Republican says or does its wasted effort because the…
