How Far Have We Fallen?

As I was making some updates to American Viewpoint, I tend to let my mind wander about things I have seen, read online, or just random thoughts that cross my mind.

I recalled seeing on Facebook a post where Nancy Pelosi was proud that her grandson wished he was not white. That did not even register with me at first. It was Nancy Pelosi being a politician.

Then it hit me like a brick!

How far have we fallen as a society that we are proud to have brainwashed our children into such self-loathing? Then to stand in a public forum - whether it is the floor of Congress or anywhere - and proclaim it a "proud day." This is something you start seeing more and more. She is "proud" that her grandson hates who he is. He is a young white boy and, thanks to people like Nancy Pelosi, he hates who he is and wants to be someone else.

That's the progressive mindset for you!

They claim to be against racism in all of its forms, but will take pride in brainwashing children into hating who they are. Do you wonder kids seem to be so messed up these days? They have parents (or grandparents like Nancy) who do not raise them, who do not tell that they are a boy or a girl, that tell them they are "privileged" because of their skin color, and that they should work to be anything other than who they are.

The thing people need to start realizing is that every single person, like Nancy Pelosi, who decries racism in all its forms are some of the biggest race-baiting individuals on the planet. These people have achieved power, gained riches, and exert influence over large groups of people by claiming racism in everything that happens.

This is not a recent phenomenon. I have seen this in action my entire life. Most people who can look at things objectively already have a list of people in their head waiting to see if I will list the same people.

These people are the ones who claimed racism in everything from Tawana Brawley (completely false) to the Duke Lacrosse Case. The problem is that it was always false but it promoted their stature even more.

People like (in no particular order) -

• Al Sharpton

• Jesse Jackson

• Joy Reid (MSNBC)

• Melissa Harris (formerly of MSNBC)

• Jeremiah Wright (Obama's Pastor)

• Nancy Pelosi

• Maxine Waters

I would keep going but I would love to see who people would add to the list as race-baiters. Obama? Clinton? The one thing people like this have in common is this. They do not want racism in this country to ever be overcome. If it did, they would be out of power, they would lose their influence, they would lose the money they think they have earned by fighting against racism.

These people - and those of their ilk - are so hell-bent on maintaining the status quo that they now resort to the brainwashing of children to accomplish their task. Then gloat about how "proud" they are that their own grandson hates who he is.

Change does not come from Washington. Anyone who thinks otherwise is in for a real surprise when it never comes. Change is local, change is personal.

But instead, we listen to politicians talk about how brainwashed their own grandchildren are.
