How Would You Protect Your Family?

With the Parkland shooting, the liberal AstroTurf movement, and now the release of the new Bruce Willis movie - 'Death Wish', the one thing I have not seen in this discussion is what people would actually protect their family if they had to make that choice.

Failure to protect his family is what triggers the vigilante in Willis' character to come out as he starts randomly killing criminals - including some he would provoke.

But since liberals want to use 'Frozen' to make a social statement about sexuality, let's use 'Death Wish' to perform the same social experiment concerning gun control.

Now, put yourself in the role of Willis. But you ARE there in the house when his wife is about to be killed. You ARE in the house when his daughter is about to be brutally attacked. You have a gun in one hand and a phone in the other.

What do you do? Call the cops? Or save your family?

Every single parent I have ever known will empty a clip into anyone who would attack their child. No hesitation. No exception. Every single husband in a loving marriage - which is what you have in the movie - would do the exact same thing.

But unlike a liberal, I will bring you back to reality. Because, unlike a Hollywood script that is saturated in the glorification of violence, most people do not voluntarily go around executing criminals thinking they are making the world a safer place.

But, as Dana Loesch said during her speech at the recent CPAC meeting, there are "grieving...mothers" who have seen their children killed while they did not have the means - a gun - to immediately protect themselves. To say that there have been no instances of someone losing a spouse should not even be debated.

But the possibility of the movie playing out in real life is quite high. So, I will ask you again. What would you do? If you had a gun and could save your family, would you stop it? Or would you let the ones you love die as you wait for the cops to show up?

The liberal gun control nut would tell you - because this is a hypothetical scenario - that they would call the cops. This is also why I will tell you liberalism is fundamentally flawed for one simple reason.

Reality would be so much different.
