If California is the Future

I had stepped away for the weekend and when I came back to work this morning. This is the headline that greets me -

ICE 'testing our defenses,' San Francisco sheriff says, after federal agents manage to interview inmate in sanctuary city

My first thought was this had to be click-bait and it worked cause I clicked on the link to read the article. This is the line in the article that the headline is based on -

ICE was "testing our defenses and they found some weak points," Hennessy told the Chronicle.

This still seemed incredulous, but you can read from the original source - the San Francisco Chronicle - here. So, things should start making sense. They do - but not the way you would think.

So, what kind of future are you representing, Senator?

Well clearly, based on the first headline, California is its own country. California sees itself as above federal law. That is the reason these sanctuary policies are even in existence - much less celebrated.

There are no borders, illegals can come and go as they please. Then an illegal can kill an American (or should I say Californian)citizen - Kate Steinle for example - and not receive any kind of punishment for any of his crimes. (I am not even going to talk about California law enforcement.)

Is California representing a future where the US is invaded and areas are under control of foreign gangs? It seems that is the future they want.

But California so much more than that, right Senator? There has to be a reason for the rest of the United States to follow California's lead into the future.

Tourist spots in San Francisco being compared to the worst slums IN THE WORLD. This is the California that Harris wants. It is the "future" of America. (Nancy Pelosi represents San Francisco by the way.) Now, if you take the time to read the article, this is the path California has been taking since 2008.

So for those keeping track - California is the future if you like an "open society" AKA slums to live in. But this is the path liberal progressives are hell bent on.

What more can California show us about our future? What about public safety?

Some of the most violent criminals at large today are illegal aliens. Yet in cities where the crime these aliens commit is highest, the police cannot use the most obvious tool to apprehend them: their immigration status.

The one thing you should not about this article. It is from 2004 with citations about criminal behavior from illegal immigrant criminals going back to the 1990's.

Was Donald Trump right? Hmmm...

This is the future that California has been building for the past almost 30 years. This is the future that Kamala Harris is declaring to the be the future for all of America.

If California is the future, then America will literally become a sh*thole country like California is right now. Californians just need to thank the Democrats for their current state.
