Liberalism Is Fundamentally Flawed #2 – Abortion

As I said here, if you look at liberalism from an almost scientific standpoint, you can only conclude that it is indeed fundamentally flawed in every aspect. What makes it worse is that its adherents do not even attempt to reconcile the fundamental contradictions.
Let’s look at abortion which really amounts to what value a liberal places on a human life.
Abortion
Liberals consider abortion to be a litmus test when it comes to judicial nominations. Just about every Supreme Court justice since Roe v Wade has been scrutinized about his position on abortion. Protests have occurred, Senate Democrats have blocked nominations for years because of this one issue.
The question is why? What rationale could provide the basis for such a hardline stance on a single issue. If you do a little research –
“Woman’s Right to Choose” – (Tom Perez, Democrat Party)
Again, you might have been able to convince a lot of people until you included, as part of the party platform no less –
“…regardless of ability to pay.”
(Again, if you see where I am going, then you already have a smile, or a smirk, on your face.)
The lack of ability to pay then requires someone else to pay. The standard liberal response is to place the requirement to pay on the government. (Hence the party platform.) This is where the flaw begins.
If a woman wanting an abortion cannot pay, then other people must pay. (Remember, the government gets money through taxation.) What if there are people opposed to abortion on religious grounds? Or even just opposed on moral grounds? Who’s right to choose will be infringed upon?
Well, the liberal will flat out tell you – that it will be anyone who is opposed to abortion for any reason whatsoever. They will even go as far as taking a case to the Supreme Court. The real problem was it was not about birth control or contraception – it was about abortion being provided on demand by a company regardless of personal stance.
That’s just the first flaw on this issue. The second flaw is the requirement to pay from everyone with or without their consent.

Requiring people to pay for a service they do not want is going to foment resentment, resistance, and outrage (not necessarily in that order). In this age, a woman who paid for her own abortion out of pocket would probably be left alone. It would be between her and God.
When you demand money from others for your mistakes, then you automatically open up the situation to people who expect to have a say in what ‘services’ are provided by groups such as Planned Parenthood.
As part of the entire gun control issue, there are tweets circulating on Twitter about the amount of money that Planned Parenthood takes from the federal government under the guise of providing services to the disadvantage.
Clearly, there are a number of people (i.e. millions) who see the connection between death in one situation and death in another situation. “Slaughtering children” is wrong in a high school setting, but babies are entirely different.
How? Is there a difference in the value of life?
Liberals are implicitly stating that the value of a ‘fetus’ (they love to be technical in this argument to give it validity) is significantly less than a ‘person’. Talk about a false equivalency. Every single person was a fetus at one point. Liberals will play semantics with the value of a human life – and they want everyone to pay for it.
Again, no liberal will even come close to accepting the totality of the situation. Even worse, they will not even attempt to address the fundamental flaw in their argument.

because they "de humanize" the fetus as a clump of cells, etc...just like the nazi's had to de humanize the jews to justify their murders...currently it is limited to before 20 wks....hillary and her band of crooks however advocated for abortion on demand up until "the child is born" even if that was 1 week before due date...one only has to learn the exact procedure for abortion -how it is performed and what happens to see how evil and horrible such an act really is
Excellent article.
