Protect and Defend The U.S.

It seems history has once again displayed its knack for repeating itself!

President Trump has just signed a proclamation sending the National Guard to the southern border in response to a caravan of about 1,000 migrants who have been traveling through Mexico to enter the U.S.

Now, in the realm of reality and reason, this is a common sense response to what basically amounts to an invasion of a country by individuals who stated that they will violate the national sovereignty of a country by entering it illegally.

"...obliged to admit them."

This was the common refrain from the members of the caravan. The US is "obliged" to admit them. Think about that one. They know if they request asylum that the US is required to admit them and evaluate their case. On an individual case, this is a reasonable expectation. But this is a large group of migrants - it is clear to accept that the vast majority of these "asylum seekers" are not actually seeking asylum.

Trump's response is simple, proportional, and a common sense response to a group of "invaders" who are flaunting American sovereignty. You stop them at the border and do NOT let them in. He has sent the National Guard to the border.

The amazing thing is that the Democrats, current DACA recipients, and the MSM all went into a collective epileptic seizure about how wrong this is. They simply refused to see beyond their own agenda, their own power grab, and realize that this "caravan" was indeed an invading army.

If we let this army in, then what do we do about the next one? We let them in too?

Trump decided to once again - Put Americans First! He defended the United States against the threat of an "invasion" by people who have no right to be in this country. The result?

Mexico disbanded the caravan and sent them home.

This time the threat was eliminated - not exacerbated.
