Before the "great reveal", I have to say that everyone wanting it needs to take a moment and breathe. People need to step back and look at this whole situation from a better viewpoint.

Congressman Nunes started this whole discussion by making statements about alleged abuses within the DOJ, the FBI, and well - you know the story if you have watched news at any point in say the last week.

Of course, the Democrats immediately responded. The first one I saw was this tweet by Senator Mark Warner of Virginia. It's a political sham. (Then he admits to not reading it.) But he was not the only one to have this kind of response.

Adam Schiff (D-CA) and House Democrats responded by releasing a counter-memo before "The Memo" was released to discredit "The Memo" before anyone knew what was in it. (Or something like that. I lost track on his train of mental chicanery.)

Then the real political flip-flopping around this whole situation began as soon as Trump's name joined the fray.

Democrats went from calling it a sham to now talking about national security being in jeopardy if the #NunesMemo is released. Scriptwriters cannot write a better soap opera drama than the way this is unfolding. Case in point, more recent tweets from Senator Warner's Twitter feed -

A political sham has taken on a whole new meaning.

I would show you Congressman Schiff's more recent statements but the man becomes absolutely apoplectic. But you get the point. Republicans are making hay of this, and the Democrats are trying to up the ante by saying this memo will be the end of our national security.

Everyone needs to step back and take a deep breath. The fever pitch around this memo needs to temper down a bit. Expectations are way too high and not a single politician has even let it slip what is truly in the memo.

Do I think there is something there? Yes. Do I think we will get the full scope of it? No.

These politicians are way too Machiavellian to be this careless. If they were, then someone is going to "hang" for this cause the rest are going to put the noose around his neck.

The only time I have agreed with something he has said. No one is above the law. No one should be. Otherwise, society descends into anarchy.

Would it shock me if someone would be arrested? No. But the question is who? Obama, Clinton, Comey? The FISA court itself is going to claim their decision was based on the evidence presented. Will Republicans be made to look like fools? Again, who knows?

I could work my way all the way through the list but I think you get the point by now. I am not expecting Watergate even though I think that would be a great thing right now. #DraintheSwamp

Something is definitely there, but will enough be redacted for their to be doubt? Trump is in a corner on this - it has to be released. I knew that was happening before it even got to him. Is this a shot in #Russiagate directly? Not sure - but it will definitely be part of the collateral damage.

If someone is breaking the law, lock them up. If this whole situation is a bunch of politicians playing shell games, then vote them out. It is time for the government to start working for us - not the other way around.

What I find amusing is that,, the Democrats wrote their own memo, roughly 10 days ago. It's curious that they have more detail into the specific's that they hadn't even seen yet. Curious. Now, the 10 page reply memo, is being modified....as It apparently has oodles of sources and methods that need redaction. Again....curious, since their most vocal complaint about Nunes was his possibly releasing said....sources and methods, which he did not.

This entire event is odorous to high heaven.

I have one piece of advice for all the Democrats calling this not normal...Watch the movie "The Post". It is about the publication of the classified documents called "The Pentagon Papers" by the Washington Post back in the 1970s.
