As many already know, Donald Trump is giving his first State of the Union address tonight. As can be expected, the Twitterverse is all abuzz about what Trump is going to say.

Bernie Sanders has been on his sandbox "preaching" consistently about his Medicare for All idea incorporating examples from other countries (Canada and Europe) about the "success" they have all had.
Well, of course, I can appreciate a different viewpoint, but I also decided to present my own viewpoint to Senator Sanders based on a tweet he posted.

Everyone seems to think that universal can be implemented and sustained over the long haul. The reality is that it cannot. Part of it is that they are comparing apples to oranges but the other part is that governmental bureaucracies like Sanders' Medicare for All plan would have to be paid for.
There is a huge difference between morality and reality.
Most European countries are implementing cost constraints due to the increasing costs. Britain even got to the point of sending their doctors to India and bringing Indian doctors to Britain strictly as a cost-cutting maneuver.
So, as Sanders wants to tweet about Trump, I would say to Senator Sanders - how do you explain Obamacare dropping 24 million people from their insurance? How would you explain that part of Obama's sales pitch was Medicare was ripe with fraud and waste?
I wonder if Sanders would actually explain that. Why do we want to repeat what we already know does not work?

What a great State of The Union Address! President Trump could have gone scorched earth and crushed democrats with the FISA Memo, but he didn't. He showed them what a True Statesman and Great President look like. I still thank God for sending President Trump. The alternative was unthinkable!
