"It's not about me." - Rick Warren
That is the opening line from his best selling book, A Purpose Driven Life, where he tries to help his readers define their purpose for living. This is something that people tend to search for as they move through their lives.
Not anymore. In this politically correct age, we have become weak. We are simple-minded and have become overly sensitive "snowflakes" in need of "safe spaces" because people have offended us.

At this point, I say "ENOUGH."
I am a White, Anglo-Saxon, Protestant, Conservative, Republican Male. If that offends you - Deal With It! I am not going anywhere.
In the age of #MeToo -
I am southern by the "grace of God." That means I use words like "Honey", "Sweetheart", and "Sugar" when talking to a woman I know; because I care about her, and it is a term of endearment.
I will compliment a woman on her outfit because it looks good on her.
I will hold a door open for a woman because it is a polite thing to do.
If you look like a woman, sound like a woman, and act like a woman; then I will refer to you as a woman. Your gender identity issues are NOT my problem.

In this era of racial hypersensitivity -
I will say it! Black is black. White is white. Brown is brown.
If you do not refer to a person by the name they were given when they were born, you are the problem.
If all you see is racism in everything, not only are you the problem - you are clueless as to what racism really is.
In this era of "appropriate speech" -
It is "Merry Christmas" - not "Happy Holidays"
When, as a man, you get married, you are married to your "wife" - not your "partner". Marriage is not a business arrangement.
Why would women buy so many pairs of shoes if they don't want to be complimented on them? Shoes make the outfit...or so I have been told.
If anything I have written here has offended you - Suck it up, Buttercup! Your insecurities are not my problem.
