How Unhappy Can A Liberal Be? Let The Challenge Begin

Sometimes when you are having a conversation or writing something (online, email, IM, etc.), you end up saying something that the other person finds offensive, upsetting, or that makes them outright angry. (Then there are the behaviors and that would take until the Second Coming to try and fully describe for you.)

It seems that liberals have an actual list of words to describe these words and actions that are offensive, intimidating, and otherwise should be banished to the darkest recesses of hell to never be heard again.

Usually with a meme, you would assume that it was someone with a sense of humor who also had way too much time on their hands.

Well...you would be wrong. There actually is a list of microaggressions. A microaggression is an indirect, racist statement, action, or incident.

(I am going to let that one sink in for a quick second.)

But let's get to that list -

• Boyfriend

• Girlfriend

• Husband

• Wife

• Golf Outings

• Interrupting a woman while she is speaking

• Male

• Female

• Addressing cross-dressing men as he or him

This is not even a comprehensive list. The real problem is that every one of these is subject to interpretation. The authors of the guide even say that by telling you to always demand clarification as much as possible.

And you wonder why liberals are so unhappy? No one is allowed to be around them without walking on eggshells. But I should stop before I trigger a liberal into apoplectic shock.

Wait - that is something else. You can "trigger" some people as well it seems. Too late -

It seems that this one is probably caused by a microaggression and justifies an insane outburst from the "triggered" individual. Well, you know what happens when people know they can push your buttons -

You think they would take a vow of silence and live in complete isolation. But they are still here lecturing the normal people of the world on how to act, what to say.

I guess a religious life is not for them. Maybe it is because they want people to come together or something like that. Again, you would be wrong. Cause what better way to bring people together than the exchange of cultural ideas and experiences.

When it is cultural appropriation it seems. Having an interest in a culture is not allowed, if you are not a member of that culture. Yes, I am being serious here!

It seems white people are not allowed to have dreadlocks. I thought hairstyle was a matter of personal expression.

But I would be wrong and guilty of appropriating a culture that has been oppressed for some reason.

I wonder if the Egyptians have a patent on dreadlocks. Guess, you don't have to be a member of the specific oppressed culture to claim cultural appropriation.

Or better yet - feeling free to lecture a group of people on cultural appropriation while making the same argument that you would refuse to accept when it is turned on you.
